You can now fly to well over 20 airports in France. Low-cost airlines EasyJet and Ryanair both offer a wide choice of destinations throughout the country. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)

Usually has the cheapest fares from the UK and has by far the widest choice of airlines and departure airport of all the airports in Paris.

Paris Orly Airport (ORY)

Important departure point for French domestic flights but still handles some international traffic. The majority of direct flights are from airports in the north of England and Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Paris Beauvais Airport (BVA)

A small regional airport located about fifty miles to the north of Paris. A great-value way into the region. The airport largely handles low cost flights.

Bergerac Airport (EGC)

Convenient gateway to a gorgeously scenic region of South West France with a significant British resident community. An excellent base from which to explore the Dordogne.

Beziers Airport (BZR)

Gateway to the gorgeous Languedoc region of south-west France. About six miles from the Mediterranean and bordered to the east by the Pyrenees.

Biarritz Airport (BZR)

Convenient gateway to the stunning southern Atlantic coastline. A characterful short break destination. Also useful for visiting the scenic French Basque region and the attractive Spanish city of San Sebastian.

Bordeaux Airport (BOD)

Just 12 km from Bordeaux city centre with its superb restaurants and great shopping. The airport is also the starting point for vineyard tours and beach holidays on the Atlantic coast.

Carcassonne Airport (CCF)

Gateway to one of the most popular tourist attractions in France. Flights also serve a considerable British community in the scenic Languedoc region. Winter flights are useful for ski fans heading for resorts in the Pyrenees and Andorra.

Dinard Airport (DNR)

The main airport for St Malo. Convenient gateway to Brittany and the scenic north-west coast of France.

Grenoble Airport (GNB)

Key arrival point for British skiers heading for the French Alps. A wide choice of resorts is accessible from the airport. Grenoble remains an enticing destination in the summer months, when the surrounding mountains are a paradise for walkers.

La Rochelle Airport (LRH)
