Poitiers Flights

Poitiers Airport (PIS)

Poitiers-Biard Airport is a convenient entry point for west-central France. Poitiers itself is a typical French country town with charming squares, winding streets and superb traditional pavement cafes, set on a hilltop above overlooking the Clain River.

Low-cost airline Ryanair has offered economical direct flights in recent years. Ryanair currently fly all year round from London Stansted. The number of flights usually increases in the summer months. Ryanair also operate seasonal summer-only routes from airports like Edinburgh and Manchester. Ryanair is by far the cheapest way to reach Poitiers. Considerably more expensive indirect flights are available with airlines like KLM and Air France.

This is a very small and very laid-back airport. There are just a handful of flights a day. There is a bank and a single bar/restaurant. The city is just 3km from the airport.
