Marseille Airport (MRS)

Marseille is a convenient gateway to the stunning Provence region, in the south of France. The vibrantly multicultural city of Marseilles has excellent beaches and makes an absorbing short break destination. Many of the best deals are found in spring and autumn when Provence is a delight and cosmopolitan Marseille is at its best. The airport is 25km from Marseille city centre

The airport is well-served from the UK, with both EasyJet and Ryanair offering low-cost flights. EasyJet fly from Bristol and London Gatwick. Ryanair fly from Edinburgh, East Midlands and London Stansted. Some routes are seasonal, beginning around May or only operating in peak summer. Considerably more expensive flights are available from regional airports with airlines like British Airways, Lufhansa, Air France and KLM. These flights are almost always indirect.

Marseille is the fourth busiest airport in France. A new terminal for budget flights opened in 2006. There is a good choice of cafes, bars, shops and restaurants.
