The airport is served by a regular, convenient, low cost metro service.

There's a good choice of buses to and from Valencia airport. There's the Aero-Bus which takes you straight into Valencia city centre. Services leave regularly between 6am and 10pm. Alternatively there's the local number 150 bus, which also connects the airport with the city but takes a much more interesting and longer route. It's a great way to get a feel for the city if it's daylight, since the bus stops at all sorts of interesting places along the way. The last bus leaves the airport at 11.15pm. If you want to go straight to the seafront, Malvarrosa beach is easy to reach from the city centre.

Taxis & Car Hire

You can hire a car at Valencia airport, with at least five car hire firms to choose from, including Avis, Europcar and Hertz. Alternatively pick up a taxi in front of the Arrivals hall.

It's hard to miss Valencia airport. Like most modern airports it's very well signposted and all main roads lead there. Find highway 7, then highway 3, then look out for the N220 and you're there. The A7 heads south to Alicante.

Short term parking is close to the terminal and long stay is a bus ride or walk away. Valencia Airport long term parking area connects to the airport via a free shuttle bus service. There's disabled parking too, convenient to the airport. Plus there's another separate area for hire vehicles, with capacity for 200 cars. Disabled spaces are nice and close to the pedestrian exits. If you think you might need extra help it's wise to contact your airline before you set off.

The multi storey car park lies opposite the terminal. This is for short stays only. The long stay car park is 10-15 minutes' walk away. Or take the shuttle bus. The short stay car park has a capacity of 1,820 cars, the long term car park 753. Parking is secure and convenient.

Valencia airport has a scattering of bars and coffee shops, plus a Duty Free outlet. There's a lost luggage facility but no left luggage. There's a useful information counter in Arrivals and Departures plus a Tourism Bureau office in Arrivals. If you're travelling on business, there's a big meeting room for hire with space for up to 80 people. There's also a smaller business room available with space for 8-10 people. There's a lounge and VIP lounge, which you can also rent for business meetings. Plus Iberia Airlines has its own lounge. The airport's disabled facilities are limited but they're working on it. You'll also find a currency exchange, ATMs and a special quiet area.
