ISTANBUL SABIHA AIRPORT (SAW) – FLIGHT INFORMATION

Sabiha Gökçen International Airport is a key entry point for British visitors to Istanbul. Flights with low-cost and budget airlines are usually the most economical way into this astonishing city spanning Europe and Asia. Competition between Pegasus Airlines and EasyJet means some of the lowest airfares to Turkey. The airport is just 35km from the city centre.

Direct flights are available all year round. The best deals are usually with EasyJet and Pegasus. EasyJet currently operate a route from London Luton. Pegasus fly from London Stansted. Flights depart daily. Reasonably priced flights are also available from airlines flying from London Heathrow. These usually include AZAL and Germanwings.

Flying from airports outside of London will normally add a lot to the fare. Airlines offering flights from regional UK airports include Air Berlin, British Airways, flybe and Germanwings. These routes are usually indirect. The lowest fares are often from Manchester. Expect to pay quite a bit more than flights with EasyJet and Pegasus.
