By Bus
Despite being situated some distance from the centre of Paris, visitors can easily reach the French capital. Approximately 20 minutes after the arrival of each flight a shuttle bus departs for the Palais des Congres, at Porte Maillot, in the centre of Paris. From here a number of world famous attractions are within easy reach such as the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. Shuttle buses travelling to the airport leave 3 hours and 15 minutes before the scheduled departure of each flight. The airport also has a shuttle bus taking tourists to Disneyland Paris.
By Train
The city of Beauvais is 3 miles from the airport. The city railway station has regular services to Paris Gare du Nord, taking about two and a half hours. The airport is well serviced by taxis, with a cab rank located directly outside.
By Car
Road connections are very good. The journey from Paris takes about one hour on the A16 toll route, whilst those travelling from Calais on the west coast of France should take the A16 motorway for about two and a half hours.
The airport has three car parks, two of which (P1 and P3) offer short-term parking, with a third (P2) more geared towards longer-term stays. The short-term car parks are reached by turning right after the car hire buildings. Be warned that if the parking ticket is not presented when picking up your car, that you may have to pay a lump sum of 150€.
For longer term parking, continue past the short-term car parks and the long term car park is located on your right. The prices for longer term parking offer only moderately better value than the short-term.
Long-term parking bays are limited to 1000, so spaces could be hard to come by. It is also worth noting that all car parks are on grass fields, which have the potential to turn muddy in heavy rain.
Paris Beauvais has only one terminal building and a limited selection of facilities. There is however a snack bar and shopping area to occupy your time. Car hire companies include Avis, Europcar, Hertz and UCAR.
