Flights head for 14 different airports in France alone. Also routes to cities in Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy and Switzerland. Seasonal winter flights head for key ski holiday airports in Switzerland, Austria and France. Also flights to the Republic of Ireland and domestic airports in England, Scotland and Northern Island.
An important UK departure point for low-cost airline Ryanair. Bournemouth also has a few scheduled flights with Aer Lingus and Blue Islands. The summer season sees Thomson operating routes to beach holiday destinations. The vast majority of flights head for sunshine holiday regions in Spain, Greece, Turkey, Malta, Portugal and Italy.
One of the UK’s quietest airports. The only airline is KLM, who offer flights to Amsterdam. Very occasional one-off charter flight package holidays to destinations like Naples, Oporto and Verona.
