Federico Fellini Airport (commonly known as Rimini Airport) is a convenient gateway to beach resorts on the Adriatic coast of Italy. The airport is just 8km from Rimini and 16km from San Marino. This is a small regional airport with a bank, a duty-free, a couple of bars and a restaurant.
Ryanair used to fly to Rimini but have discontinued the route. There are currently (Jan 2013) no flights from the UK.
It remains to be seen if low-cost airlines will resume routes from the UK in the future.
