Brescia Airport (RMI)

Brescia Airport (sometimes advertised as Verona Brescia Airport) is a convenient gateway to the north of Italy. The airport is also well placed for the city of Verona and the Italian lakes of Garda, Idro and Iseo. The airport is 12km from Brescia and 40km from Verona. This is a small regional airport with a a couple of shops and a snack bar.

Ryanair used to fly to Brescia but have discontinued the route. There are currently (Jan 2013) no flights from the UK.

It remains to be seen if low-cost airlines will resume routes from the UK in the future.
