Newquay Airport is one of the UK’s quietest airports. Recent years have seen both Ryanair and Air Southwest pulling out of the airport, leaving just 3 airlines operating flights in 2012. Newquay airport’s most important remaining airline is Flybe, who operate domestic routes to London Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow. Isles of Scilly Skybus fly to the Isles of Scilly and operate a seasonal route to Southampton. The only international flight is a seasonal route to Dusseldorf, in Germany, with Lufthansa. Very occasional one-off charter flight package holidays depart from Newquay. Recent destinations have included Dubrovnik, Cyprus and the Italian Lakes. See the airport website for details.
