Trains to Malaga Airport – Fly to Malaga
Because Malaga is a major holiday hub and a key business destination, trains to Malaga airport's dedicated station are frequent and efficient. As well as a great way to check out the local countryside on your way to your hotel! You'll find the railway connection at Malaga airport opposite terminal 2, for trains running on the Malaga and Fuengirola line. There are regular trains to and from Malaga city centre. From there, if you plan to explore Spain's Costa del Sol via public transport, the excellent railways of Spain are your oyster!
 
Buses to Malaga Airport – Malaga flights
There are also frequent and efficient buses to and from Malaga airport. You'll find bus stops outside arrivals in Terminal 1, outside Departures in Terminal 2. There's a regular direct coach service from Marbella Bus Station to Malaga Airport, run by the friendly local Portillo Bus Company. The fare is around 4 Euros and takes around 45 minutes nonstop. Pay the driver or buy a ticket from the Portillo office. Alternatively catch the number 19 bus for an interesting roundabout route into Marbella centre past many of the city's major landmarks and attractions, with bus stops at all sorts of weird, wonderful and useful places along the way.  
 
Driving to Malaga Airport – How to get to the airport
Malaga airport is always busy, always popular. So driving to Malaga Airport, whether from Malaga or any of the towns scattered along the Costa del Sol, is straightforward. The region's major arteries are the fast, smooth E-15 motorway and the N-340 National road. There's clear signposting for Malaga airport from miles around so you'd have to try pretty hard to miss it!
