Getting to the airport by train will be considerably easier when the new Leeds Bradford Parkway station is opened.

Driving

Leeds Bradford Airport is northwest of Leeds, near the Leeds Ring Road, 20 minutes from Leeds city centre on a good day. The M62 allows fast access from Liverpool, Manchester and Hull. The airport is accessed by ‘A’ roads from the M62, M1 and A1. Make sure you allow plenty of time for driving as the approach roads can be rather slow going and the Leeds Ring Road is often busy and congested. If you are using a satellite navigation system, the postcode is LS19 7TU. Cars should drop off and pick up at the short stay car park. There is free `parking at short stay car park for the first 10 minutes. Full details on getting to the airport can be found at the airport website.

CAR PARKING

Official car parks are professionally run, well-supervised. Short stay parking is close to the terminal. Short stay parking is designed for stays of up to 24 hours. If you are parking for the duration of a holiday you should use Leeds Bradford Airport long-stay parking. A free shuttle bus service connects the long-stay car park with the airport terminal. Buses run 24 hours a day. The transfer can take up to 20 minutes. For an extra level of service and security choose the Sentinel Car Park. Special assistance parking is in the short stay car park.

The drop-off & pick up area is in the short stay car park opposite the terminal. Short Stay car park is free if you simply drop off or pick up and then proceed immediately to the exit without leaving the car. If you are using a satellite navigation device, the postcode is LS19 7TU.

Prices for parking depend on the type of car park and the length of stay. The cheapest airport parking is normally found by booking in advance or taking advantage of special parking offers. Pre-booking is only possible in the long stay car park. Full details of official car park prices at the official airport website.
