Getting to the airport by train is fast and convenient as the airport has its own railway station: Glasgow Prestwick Airport. The airport terminal is a short walk from the station. Trains connect Glasgow Prestwick Airport with Glasgow Central train station every 30 minutes (hourly on Sundays). Trains take 50 minutes. Trains run from 06.00 (09.00 Sundays) until 00.15 (Saturdays 23.30; Sundays23.00). Trains also run to Ayr, the Ayr Coast, Stranraer, Kilmarnock and Newcastle.
