Geneva Airport (GVA)

Geneva Airport is a key arrival point for British skiers heading for the famous resorts of Switzerland, France and Italy. The airport is on the border with France and just 4 km from Geneva city centre. A wide choice of resorts is a conveniently short transfer from the airport. Geneva remains an enticing destination in the summer months, when the surrounding mountains are a paradise for walkers.

Geneva is exceptionally well served from the UK. The airport is a very important European base for EasyJet. There is a huge increase in departures during the winter ski season, when tour operators like Monarch, Thomson and Thomas Cook supplement low-cost airlines EasyJet, Jet2.com and Flybe.

EasyJet is frequently the cheapest option. They operate routes from airports throughout the UK, including Bristol, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Gatwick, Luton, Manchester, Belfast-International, Bournemouth, Glasgow-International, Leeds Bradford, Southend, Stansted and Newcastle.

The summer season sees a smaller choice of airlines and departure airports. The cheapest option once again is usually EasyJet, with year-round flights from Bristol, Edinburgh, Liverpool, London-Gatwick, London-Luton, and Manchester. British Airways fly from London Heathrow.
