Dusseldorf Weeze Flights

Düsseldorf Weeze Airport (NRN)

Weeze Airport is located in the Lower Rhine (Niederrhein) region of western Germany around 33km (21 miles) southeast of Nijmegen in the Netherlands, and roughly 48km (30 miles) northwest of Duisburg in Germany. It utilises the infrastructure of the former military airbase RAF Laarbruch, and commenced operating as a civil airport in 2003. Most flights to Weeze Airport are operated by low-cost airline Ryanair and offer a cheaper alternative to flights to Düsseldorf International Airport. Ryanair continue to advertise flights to Weeze as flights to Düsseldorf (Weeze).

Although Düsseldorf Weeze is a cheaper route into the attractive Lower Rhineland region between Germany and Holland, it may also be worth searching for flights into the much busier Düsseldorf International Airport which offers a greater number of routes and more flexibility.
