Durham Tees Valley is one of the UK’s quietest airports. Recent years have seen Ryanair pulling out of the airport, leaving just 4 airlines operating flights in 2012. Among those is Eastern Airways, who operate domestic routes to Aberdeen and Southampton. Flybe operate a seasonal route to Jersey. The only international route is to Amsterdam with KLM. The number of flights sees a small increase in summer, when Thomson sometimes operate seasonal routes to Spain. Occasional one-off charter holiday flights depart from Durham Tees Valley. See the airport website for details.
