Brindisi Flights

Brindisi Airport (BDS)

Brindisi Airport (also known as Salento Airport) is a convenient entry point for resorts in southeast Italy. Brindisi is also well placed for the beautiful Puglia region. The harbor town of Brindisi is just 8km from the terminal. This is a small regional airport with a few shops and a couple of bars and restaurants.

Recent years have seen economical direct flights with low-cost airline Ryanair. They currently operate year-round flights from London Stansted. Flights are more frequent in the summer season.

Flying from airports other than Stansted remains problematic. Indirect flights are sometimes available with airlines like Air Berlin and Alitalia. These depart from Heathrow, Gatwick or London City Airport and will almost certainly be much more expensive than flights with Ryanair.
