Billund Flights

Billund Airport (BLL)

Billund Airport was built in 1964 and is the second busiest airport in Denmark. The airport is located in central Jutland and is the most convenient airport for destinations in Western Denmark. The airport is just 2km from Billund. Airport buses make the 20km journey into Billund town centre. This is the nearest airport to the Legoland theme park. There is year-round demand for flights with Danish visitors to London. This is a small regional airport with a bar/restaurant and a duty-free shop. Departure and arrival are a very relaxed affair. Billund is a little busier in summer, when the airport is a popular departure point for holiday charter flights. The airport is an important Scandinavian base for low-cost airline Ryanair.

Ryanair have offered flights from London in recent years. There is a disappointing lack of routes from airports outside London. Ryanair have offer seasonal flights from Edinburgh.
