Bari Airport (BRI)

Bari Airport is a convenient entry point for the south of Italy. The characterful city of Bari is just 8km from the terminal. This is a small regional airport with a few shops and a couple of bars and a restaurant. A new terminal opened in 2005.

Recent years have seen economical direct flights with low-cost airlines EasyJet and Ryanair. EasyJet currently operate year-round flights from London Gatwick. Ryanair also fly all year round from London Stansted. You should also find affordable fares with British Airways from London Gatwick.

Flying from airports outside London remains problematic. Indirect flights are sometimes available with airlines like Lufthansa, Air Berlin, Alitalia, Swiss, Flybe, British Airways and Air France. These will almost certainly be much more expensive than flights with Ryanair and EasyJet.
