Gothenburg City Airport (sometimes referred to as Gothenburg Säve) is the second largest airport in Gothenburg. The airport is 10km from the city centre. The airport is slightly closer to the city centre than the main Gothenburg Landvetter Airport. Gothenburg City is a small airport with a café, snack bar, restaurant and a couple of shops. Passing through arrivals/departures is relaxed and fast.
Economical fares are available from Ryanair. They currently operate routes from Edinburgh and London Stansted. Gothenburg City is an important Swedish airport for Ryanair, which accounts for a large proportion of the airport’s passenger traffic. Ryanair usually offer the lowest fares from the UK.

The airport bus runs to the main Gothenburg railway station. Tickets cost SEK 79. Buy tickets from the machine before boarding the bus. Journey time is about 30 minutes.
A taxi to Gothenburg Central Station should cost SEK 320-355.
