Venice Treviso Airport (TSF)

Low-cost airlines use Venice Treviso Airport as an alternative to the much busier Venice Marco Polo Airport. Venice Treviso is 40km from Venice. The airport is also well placed for beach resorts on the Venetian Riviera like Lido de Jesolo. Ryanair flights link with an economical bus service from the airport to the centre of Venice. Any inconvenience is offset by airfares that are consistently among the cheapest to Italy from the UK. This is a small regional airport with a few shops and a couple of cafes and snack bars. A new terminal opened in 2007.

Ryanair currently operate routes from London Stansted, Bristol, East Midlands and Leeds Bradford.

Local Transport

• Bus number 6 connect the airport with Treviso railway station. Journey time is 15-20 minutes.

• Buses timed to coincide with Ryanair flight head for Venice Mestre railway station. The journey takes 40-60 minutes. Tickets cost 7 euros.

• There is also an airport bus service to Padova.
