Stockholm Vasteras Airport is a small regional airport located to the west of Stockholm. The airport is only used by low-cost airline Ryanair. Flights with Ryanair account for 100% of the airport’s passenger traffic. This is often the cheapest route to Stockholm from the UK but do note that although officially known as Stockholm Vasteras the airport is 100km from the Swedish capital. Getting to Stockholm city centre involves a 90 minute onward journey by coach. This is a very small airport. There is a single snackbar/restaurant and a shop. Passing through arrivals and departures is a very relaxed affair.
Economical fares are available from Ryanair. They currently operate a route from London Stansted.
