Valencia airport is a single terminal airport that's on the up and up, an increasingly busy drop off point for the ever popular Costa Blanca. It's also convenient for business travel. The airport is less than ten miles from Valencia city centre and it's also easy to get to Alaquas, Paterna and Torrent. Since 2000, the airport has been getting steadily busier and at the moment a massive six million plus people pass through its doors each year. EasyJet and other low cost flights providers have made a big impact on the airport, bringing huge increases in passenger numbers. These days the city's metro train line connects the centre, airport and busy port, contributing even more to its popularity.   

Valencia airport is simple and basic. There aren't any restaurants as we write, just a scattering of bars and coffee shops, six in all including a Duty Free outlet. There's a lost luggage facility but no left luggage. There's a useful information counter in Arrivals and Departures plus a Tourism Bureau office in Arrivals. If you're travelling on business, there's a big meeting room for hire with space for up to 80 people. There's also a smaller business room available with space for 8-10 people. There's a lounge and VIP lounge, which you can also rent for business meetings. Plus Iberia Airlines has its own lounge. The airport's disabled facilities are limited but they're working on it. You'll also find a currency exchange, ATMs and a special quiet area.
