Turin Airport (TRN)

Turin Airport is 16km from the centre of Turin. The airport is a convenient gateway to the beautiful Piedmont region of northern Italy, known for its lakes and mountains. Winter flights are popular with ski fans heading for top Italian ski resorts. The airport was renovated in 2005 and has a good choice of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.

Many routes to Turin are winter season only, usually beginning in December and finishing in April.

Recent years have seen economical direct flights with low-cost airlines EasyJet and Ryanair. Fares are frequently among the lowest to Italy from the UK. Ryanair currently operate flights from London Stansted. EasyJet fly from London Gatwick. You should also find well-priced flights with British Airways from Gatwick.

The winter ski season sometimes sees flights from regional airports with budget airlines like flybe and tour operators like Thomson and Thomas Cook.

Reasonably priced flights are often available from national airlines like KLM, Air France, British Airways and Lufthansa. These are usually indirect. The lowest fares are normally found from London Heathrow, London City Airport, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh.
