Scheduled Flights
Scheduled flights operate through a commercial airline. Usually these are well known airlines (such as Virgin Atlantic or British Airways). The company sets a schedule for flights, then makes that schedule available to the public. You arrange your trip around scheduled flights, booking the ones that are most convenient to you.

Chartered Flights
A charter airline is one that flies specifically for hire. That is to say, they don’t have a prescheduled timeline you book tickets for; instead, you pay the airline to take you directly where you want to go. Of course, most people can’t afford to charter a flight every time they want to go somewhere. However, many travel agencies and other such organizations will charter flights to specific tourist destinations, and you can often get in on these flights for much less hassle (and for a much lower price) than chartering your own flight would involve.

Booking and Technicalities
Which type of flight is right for you? Well, it really depends on a lot of things: where you’re going, how much you want to spend, and how fast you want to get there. With a scheduled airline, you’re dependent on their schedule. You might have to stop in a variety of locations, transfer planes, and deal with delays to your schedule.With a charter plane, on the other hand, you experience a direct flight to the location of your choosing.
