Poznan International Airport is small regional airport, 5km from the city of Poznan, A new terminal opened in 2001. There is a modest collection of shops, a couple of bars and a snack bar/restaurant.

The airport is very well served from the UK, with routes from London and a number of regional airports. A sizeable Polish community in Britain means economical flights are available at any time of year. Flights to Poznan are usually among the cheapest to Poland from the UK.

You will find economical flights with low-cost airlines Ryanair and Wizz Air. Ryanair fly from Bristol, Edinburgh, Liverpool and London Stansted. Wizz Air operate routes from Doncaster Sheffield, and London Luton.

Local Transport

Bus

MPK city buses connect the airport with Poznan city centre. Express Line L heads for the Central Railway Station. Journey time is about 20 minutes. Night bus 242 also goes to the Central Railway Station and takes 30 minutes. Timetables at www.mpk.poznan.pl/
