GETTING TO THE AIRPORT

By Bus

If you're on a package holiday your tour operator will almost certainly have organised transport to your hotel. You'll find the hotel buses right outside. If you're travelling independently or on business, there are several convenient buses connecting the airport with the city of Palma de Mallorca, just five miles away. You can also connect by bus to the island's other main towns and resorts. Buses run every half an hour between 7am and midnight and a single journey costs three Euros. Take the Number 1 bus to Paseo Mallorca and Porto Pi, taking half an hour. There's a bus stop outside the multi-storey car park, outside door D in Arrivals, and a second bus stop just outside check in.

Taxis & Car Hire

Taxis depart from outside Door D in Arrivals. It takes about quarter of an hour to get into central Palma. There are plenty of car hire firms operating out of Palma Majorca airport so hiring your own transport is convenient and fast.

Driving

You can't miss it! Majorca is a relatively small island and all roads lead to Palma! You'll find that the airport's clearly signposted from all over the island – you'd have to try pretty hard to get lost.

CAR PARKING

Palma Airport car parks connect directly by a convenient tunnel that links the fourth floor of the car park to the departures area. You'll find plenty of automatic payment machines on the fourth floor and more on the ground floor. The car park is divided into several different areas. The Paid public car park as 1660 spaces, six reserved for people with reduced mobility. The express car park has room for 36 cars, two reserved for people with reduced mobility. The long stay car park takes 319 vehicles with 8 for disabled people and there's a general use parking area with a capacity of 3,180. There are six places on each level for people with reduced mobility.

All the car parks at Palma are convenient for arrivals and departures. Because the airport is committed to equality, all the disabled parking spaces are thoughtfully placed with easy access, close to the escalators and key airport areas. You'll even find VIP parking opposite the departures Terminal and at Arrivals. Head that way if you're posh enough!

Palma Airport parking offers a grand total of almost 6000 spaces spread over six floors. That's very generous considering most of the people passing through the airport are holidaymakers bound straight for their hotel bus! If you happen to be there on business you should find it easy to get yourself a parking space and, during the off season, you should be able to take your pick of the most convenient spaces!
