Mykonos Flights

Mykonos Airport (JMK)

Mykonos Island National Airport is the entry point for holiday destinations on the Greek island of Mykonos. The airport is just 4km from the island capital Mykonos Town, and a short transfer from popular resorts like Plati Yialos. Mykonos airport is also useful for those travelling on to the islands of Paros and Naxos. The number of flights from the UK have increased in recent years but routes from airports outside London still remain limited.

Direct flights are only available during the long beach holiday season, when low-cost airline EasyJet operates routes from the UK. Many of the best deals are found in early spring and late summer when the weather remains warm and sunny. Seasonal routes often begin in April and end in October..

The holiday season sees EasyJet operating direct flights from Luton, Gatwick and Manchester. Flights may also be available from airlines flying from Stansted, Heathrow and London City. These usually include Aegean Airlines, Swiss, Olympic, Air France and Air Berlin. These flights are normally indirect and will probably be more expensive than EasyJet. If flights are not available you should be able to find an onward flight from Athens.

Finding direct flights in the winter season is problematic if not impossible. Winter visitors to the island have to rely on local ferry services or fly via Athens.
