Milan Linate is the closest airport to Milan. The airport is just 8km from the city centre. There are good bus connections to Milan. The onward journey takes 20 minutes. The airport has a good choice of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
Recent years have seen economical flights with low-cost airline EasyJet. EasyJet currently operate year-round flights from London Gatwick. British Airways and Alitalia fly from London Heathrow.
Indirect flights may be available from other UK airports with airlines like Lufthansa, Air France, British Airways, KLM and Brussels Airlines. These will almost certainly be a quite a lot more expensive than flights with EasyJet.
