Menorca Airport (MAH)

Mahon Airport (commonly known as Menorca Airport) is the entry point for UK holidaymakers heading for the beach resorts of Menorca. The airport is 5km from the island capital Mahon. There is a reasonable selection of cafes, bars, shops and restaurants.< /p>

Intense competition between charter and low-cost airlines keeps fares reasonable. The superb climate means flights are available all year round. Flights tend to be more expensive during the summer school holiday period. Many of the best deals are found in early spring and autumn. It is always worth booking as well in advance as possible.

Many of the best deals are found with EasyJet and Ryanair. EasyJet currently operate routes from London Luton, London Gatwick, Bristol, Liverpool and Newcastle. Ryanair operates flights from East Midlands.

The availability of flights increases during the long summer season, when tour operators like Thomson and Monarch provide charter flights from regional airports throughout the UK. You should also find good-value fares from Jet2-com. Seasonal flights may begin as early as April. Others may operate only in the peak summer months.
