How to cancel a flight booking online

If you need to cancel a flight booking you have made online through directline-flights, there are some simple steps you need to follow. A cancellation request must be emailed to admin@directline-flights.co.uk by the person who made the original booking. This should be the person who paid the deposit when booking online. The email must contain both the directline-flights and separate airline booking references you were supplied with when booking. These can be found on your original booking confirmation email.

 

Once you have cancelled your cheap flight booking, you may be subject to cancellation charges from both directline-flights and the airline you were due to fly with. All confirmed flight bookings will be charged a minimum cancellation fee of £40 per person by directline-flights. In addition, you may be charged a separate amount by the airline you were due to fly with in accordance with their cancellation policy. Most scheduled airlines do not allow changes to flights bookings and therefore a full cancellation charge will apply. Most low-cost airlines will charge a 100% cancellation fee. No refunds are available.

 

If your reason for cancelling you flight booking is unavoidable or otherwise covered by your travel insurance policy, then you may be able to claim back the cancellation charges that apply to your cancelled booking. Check this information with your insurance provider.
