Probably the most important factor in finding cheap flights is being flexible with your day of departure. If you have the option of leaving mid-week, you'll find significant discounts on flights that leave at the weekend. Further deals can be found if you leave early in the morning or late at night. Avoiding the middle of the day will keep you out of competition with business flyers, and give you the most control over your costs. Getting the best flight deals - choose your holiday well
Some of the best holiday flight deals can be found in the early off-season. This doesn't necessarily mean flying at the worst time of year, but avoiding the key holidays. Major school holidays are a busy time and flights increase significantly in cost around those dates. So, if you can be flexible with your holiday dates, then try flying out shortly after the end of school holiday season. You can find some of the best deals when you go all-inclusive. All-inclusive holidays make sense, because, by paying up front, you keep your costs simple and calculable.
