Friedrichshafen Flights

Friedrichshafen Airport (FDH)

Friedrichshafen Airport (sometimes known as Bodensee Airport) has a superb location on Lake Constance, in southern Germany. The airport is close to magnificent scenery on the borders with Austria and Switzerland.

The number of flights and the choice of routes from the UK usually increases in the winter ski season. The airport is a useful gateway to ski resorts in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Resorts nearby include Sonthofen and Oberstdorf. The region remains a very attractive proposition in the spring and summer but finding direct flights outside the winter season is more problematic.

Recent years have seen seasonal flights with Monarch and British Airways. Monarch fly from Manchester. Both Monarch and British Airways operate routes from London Gatwick.
