GETTING TO THE AIRPORT

Train

It takes just over an hour to get from London Euston to Coventry by rail. And conveniently, Coventry railway station is only fifteen minutes from Coventry Airport. The two are linked by a frequent, efficient bus service – the number 737 – which stops directly outside the station. You can save time by buying your connecting bus tickets when you book your train journey, wherever you’re travelling from. Ask for an add-on bus ticket to Coventry Airport when you buy your ticket. It is a very good idea to plan your train journey and book your tickets as far in advance as possible.

Bus

A smart, regular bus service connects the airport with Coventry train station, Pool Meadow bus station and Coventry city centre.

Driving

Coventry Airport is easy to access via the Midlands motorway network. Follow clear signs from the M1, M40, M6 and M42. The M25 and outer London are less than an hour and a half away, traffic permitting. It’s always worth taking potential delays into account just in case. If you’ve got a satnav, the address and postcode is: Coventry Airport, Siskin Parkway West, Coventry, CV3 4PB. Bear in mind that Siskin Parkway West, just outside the airport’s entrance, is a designated clearway so you can’t stop or wait there. The Coventry Airport website gives handy details of the best road routes from Birmingham, The South East, North East, South West, South East and South of England. And you can pre-book taxis via the airport’s website too. If you’re satnav-free, try the AA Route Planner for detailed directions.

CAR PARKING

The car park is placed conveniently right next to the passenger terminal, so there’s never far to carry your luggage! The airport offer good discounts for early bird bookings. The airport claims to be dedicated to giving everyone an enjoyable experience and they’ve arranged for their handling agent, Flight Support, to give special assistance if you need it. To get help at the airport, you’ll need to tell your airline at least two days before your departure time, and the same goes for your return flight.

You’ll find parking at Coventry Airport South, right next to the Passenger Terminal. Whether you’re approaching on the Stonebridge Highway or London Road - A46 or A45 - you’ll find it clearly signposted. You’ll need to have your car parking booking confirmation with you; it acts as your entry ticket. And, be warned… if you stay longer than your pre-booking they’ll charge you the full tariff for extra time.

Airport parking offers the safety of a large secure compound, conveniently close to the terminal. Their tariff is a simple affair, with just one car park rather than a split between long stay and short stay.
