Carcassonne Flights

Carcassonne Airport (CCF)

Carcassonne Airport is a convenient gateway to one of the most popular attractions in the whole of France. Low-cost flights from the UK have made this UNESCO World Heritage Site a deservedly popular short break destination. Flights also serve a considerable British community in the scenic Languedoc region. Low-cost airline Ryanair began flying to Carcassone in the 1990’s and now represents the bulk of the airport’s passenger traffic. Winter flights from London and Liverpool are useful for ski fans heading for resorts in the Pyrenees and Andorra.

This is a small regional airport with a couple of snack bars. Arrivals and departures are fast and hassle-free. The airport is just 3km from Carcassonne city centre.

Flights with Ryanair have brought this remarkable city within easy reach of the UK. Carcassonne is exceptionally well served by Ryanair, with routes from London Stansted, East Midlands, Bournemouth, Liverpool and Glasgow Prestwick. Some of these flights are seasonal, starting around May and ending in September or October
