Trains to Bristol Airport
The nearest train station to Bristol International Airport is Bristol Temple Meads, approximately seven miles away. Your best bet from there is to catch the Bristol International Flyer express coach service, which connects Bristol Temple Meads, the city centre and the airport and runs every 15 minutes at peak times. London to Bristol trains leave from Paddington station, with a journey time of around an hour and forty minutes. South West trains run the London-Bristol service, and you’ll pay a much lower fare if you book your tickets in advance. As a general rule, the sooner you book the more money you’ll save. The train’s a really good way to get to Bristol Airport because there’s no risk of getting stuck in traffic and missing your flight! Buses to Bristol Airport
It’s easy to get to and from Bristol Airport and Bristol city centre by bus and coach. A direct express luxury coach link runs frequently between Bristol International, Temple Meads and the City Centre. National Express coaches can take you between all sorts of towns and cities across the South West and South Wales, stopping off at Bristol Bus Station. From there, you can catch the Bristol International Flyer. First Group runs a bus service from Weston Super Mare to Bristol Airport, calling at several convenient local stops. Bus number 121 runs every two hours or so from early in the morning until half past four in the afternoon on working days, with weekend and bank holiday variations. Driving to Bristol Airport
Bristol Airport is just eight miles to the south of Bristol city centre. From the North, take the M5 and leave at junction 18, following the signposts to the A4, Bristol and the airport. Follow the A4, past Bristol City Football ground then pick up the A38 Taunton road to find the airport. From the South, leave the M5 at Junction 22, taking the A38 exit off the roundabout. At East Brent roundabout take the second exit for the A38 and the airport, eleven miles along and on your left.

From the East leave the M4 at junction 20 and catch the M5 southbound, exiting at junction 18. Take the A4 towards Bristol, past the football ground, and pick up the A38. Head towards Taunton and you’ll find the airport. From the South East, follow the A4 towards Bristol, take the A4174 ring road, and follow the signs for the A38.
