Beziers Airport (BZR)

Béziers Cap d'Agde Airport is a convenient gateway to the gorgeous Languedoc region of South West France. Set close to Montpelier, Beziers sits above the River Orb, about six miles from the Mediterranean Sea and bordered to the east by the Pyrenees. The airport is just 12km from Béziers and conveniently close to the beach resort of Cap d'Agde. This is a small regional airport with a couple of bars and a snack bar/restaurant. Arrivals and departures are fast and hassle-free.

Flights with low-cost airline Ryanair have brought the whole Languedoc region within easy reach. Ryanair began operating flights from Bristol in 2008, shortly followed by routes from London Stansted and London Luton. Ryanair currently (2012) operate flights from Luton, Manchester and Bristol.

The number of flights may increase in the summer season, when airlines like Flybe operate routes from airports like Southampton. Indirect flights are available with Flybe from regional airports throughout the UK. Seasonal flights often begin in May and end in September or October.
