Barcelona International Airport car parks are currently being expanded in line with their new terminal building, Terminal C. They’re in the middle of constructing two brand new car parking levels on top of the current car parks directly opposite Terminal A. This means that the top level parking area is out of commission for the time being, probably until mid-2009. Watch this space! Barcelona’s parking facilities are easy to find, clearly signposted and visible from Terminal A. They’re accessible from outside the Terminal A building and, while they’re currently in a state of flux because of rebuilding and expansion, they’re roomy enough! Barcelona International Airport parking offers 12,000 parking spaces. 2300 of them are in a dedicated building that connects to Terminal C via a cool air bridge. 1600 are under cover opposite Terminal A, also connecting via an air bridge. The remainder are all at ground level in uncovered car parks in all terminals, all manned by guards.
