GETTING TO THE AIRPORT

Train

The nearest train station is Dyce. Trains from Aberdeen and Inverness call at Dyce station. Getting from Dyce station to the airport requires a short taxi journey. Mainline trains from Aberdeen run to Glasgow and Edinburgh, and major cities in England. First ScotRail, NXEC and Virgin Trains all serve Aberdeen station.

Bus

Regular bus services connect Aberdeen Airport with Aberdeen city centre. Buses are less frequent at weekends. Airport buses are operated by First Aberdeen and Stagecoach Bluebird. Further information is available from traveline.com.

Driving

Getting to the airport by car is straightforward. Aberdeen airport is just seven miles from the city centre. The airport is easily accessed from the A96 road from Aberdeen to Inverness. If you are using a satellite navigation system, the postcode is AB21 7DU. Cars can drop off passengers near the terminal building. Taxis from Aberdeen are provided by Rainbow Airport Taxis and ComCab Taxis. Airport taxis can be pre-booked. A taxi to Aberdeen city centre will take about 10-15 minutes.

CAR PARKING

Official car parks are professionally run, well-supervised and secure. Short stay parking is next to the terminal. Short stay parking is designed for stays of up to 24 hours. Flightpath long-stay car park provides a free bus service to the terminal. Buses run every 5-10 minutes. The journey takes five minutes. Cheap long-stay parking is provided for offshore workers.
